DON'T MESS WITH SOUTH SUDANEESE MILITARY IN THE DRC

Image
The Streit Group Spartan(an armoured personnel carrier designed and built by STREIT Group) makes part of the South Sudanese contingent deployed to DRC. It is also license produced by KrAZ in Kremenchuk, Ukraine.  The Spartan can be used in a wide variety of applications, including military and police missions. Its welded steel body is mounted on the chassis of a Ford F550 The armored vehicles are Mine protected & some Mine Resistant and Ambush Protected (MRAP) are among the fleet. Having sufficient armored vehicles especially Mine Resistant and Ambush Protection (MRAP) to convey troops in an hostile environment like the DRC is an essential requirement in today’s battlefield largely due to the ever present threat of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) used by militants. An MRAP is designed in such a way to protect the soldiers inside in case it gets hit by IED at the expense of the vehicle. Military around the world still make use of soft-skinned u

TOP 5 CARS THAT THE MIDDLE CLASS IN KENYA SHOULD BUY & DRIVE IN 2023 1) 2016 Subaru Forester (Non Turbo) If you are looking for a used Forester, the 2016 Subaru Forester is the ideal car for you. It is a good compact SUV for those who value practicality over style. It's roomy and it features a well-made cabin ( has lots of seating and cargo space). Few compact SUVs come standard with all-wheel drive, but the Forester does, making it a good option for those who drive in harsh weather conditions. It also comes standard with all-wheel drive, which is rare for a compact SUV. However, the Forester falls in the middle of our rankings because many rivals have higher reliability ratings. Pros & Cons Spacious interior and cargo areas ✅ Standard all-wheel drive ✅ Potent turbocharged available engine ✅ Small base touch screen ❌ New for 2016 New standard touch-screen infotainment system New safety packages Features and Specs •

LEXUS vs TOYOTA

Image
I have used many Toyotas and a Lexus both within family and corporate use. Thus I have experienced many versions of the vehicles over the years. I personally think Toyota (family) is the best Car brand ever. Their reliability & endurance is out of this world. I have personally seen and used cars that virtually don't need any maintenance other than regular maintenance & consumables for way over 100,000 km and over the span of something like 15 years. (compare it with brands like BMW or Mercedes that require more and more maintenance the more modern the make). For perspective, I live in a country where there are still some bad roads. Most of the people are still under the middle class (never having luxury items, care and maintenance doesn't come naturally to these people). Regular maintenance are seen as inconvenience, any parts change / breaking down other than consumables is a grave sin of the automaker, and don't even expect them to drive an

WHY JAPANESE CARS HAVE THE LOWEST MILEAGE IN THE WORLD

Image
The Shaken Law Prompts People to Sell Early.Well, you should know that used cars from Japan usually have low mileage because they are put out of service after only four or five years. You may think that there is a serious problem with used cars from Japan because of the low mileage on the engine. Perhaps, you may think that exporters are trying to scam you and that they are not advertising the genuine mileage of the vehicle. Well, you should know that used cars from Japan usually have low mileage because they are put out of service after only four or five years. The Shaken Law partly has something to do with this. The Shaken Law Prompts People to Sell Early. How to Change a Flat Tire

Image
Park car on flat surface, put on emergency brake and hazard lights, set up reflective warning triangle, put block on tire diagonally opposite flat tire, and remove spare tire from car (make sure it’s inflated). Remove hubcap so you can get to the lug nuts. Loosen nuts with lug wrench. Don’t take any of them off yet — loosen just enough to “crack” them. Place jack underneath car at a sturdy part of the frame. Check your owner’s manual for correct placement. Turn crank at end of jack by hand until it contacts the frame. Add jack handle for leverage. Crank handle until wheel is high enough above the ground to remove the tire, Don’t stick your hands or legs under the car — it could fall and injure you. Remove lug nuts from wheel by turning them counterclockwise, and keep them in your hubcap so they don’t roll away. Remove flat tire and lay flat. You don’t want it to roll away either. Line up spare tire with wheel studs and place on car. Once wheel is on, replace lug nuts and tighten them b
